greased lightning

I recently saw Grease for the first time and it was fun!
I mean, besides all the sexist comments and talking about women like they're someone's posession or something, ugh. Oh and by the way, just to tell you:
'Also, I think you are more than just fat.'
Well, thank you so much. That is so sweet of you to say that

Really??? Ugh this is just horrible. It's like saying: But I don't see you as a black person. Jan, the person who is referred to fat the entire movie, is represented as one of the the girls who is less fun and less desirable.
There are multiple scenes in the movies where the girls have to ask the guys for money. That is so stereotype (every scene in this movie is but whatever). Girls got to have a man to be complete, girls can't take care of there own, right? But Grease also suggests men have to be fit and muscular because
'You better shape up,
'cause I need a man who can keep me satisfied'

It's just so full of fatshaming and stereotypes and gross sexist comments, and offending to sluts or virgins. Women are no matter what shamed for their sexual lives. Slutshaming, fatshaming, virginshaming...
It kind of says that if you want a boyfriend or girlfriend you should just change every single thing about yourself to the other one's likings and you are a winner! Easy right?

Okay, I don't want to rant too much about this because I still like the movie vibe somehow. The clothes, colors and the songs are very catchy so I still kind of loved it!
